I was thinking that I wouldn't run a marathon this year in order to focus on soccer, but a trail marathon changes everything. And endurance is good for soccer too. <br /><br />My only request is that it not be a 50K race. Those do not count as ultra marathons and, being marginally more distance than a standard marathon, they are really just pretentious marathons.
