The last two weeks of training have gone well. I've been ramping up the mileage, hitting 80 miles last week and 90 miles this week. I've had some nice trail runs, including a pretty long one at Bull Run last weekend. I am definitely looking forward to spring though. I miss all the green scenery on the trails, and I'm not a huge fan of running in cold weather. Fortunately spring comes pretty early in DC.

- Sunday - 10 miles easy
- Monday - 9 miles easy
- Tuesday - 10 miles easy
- Wednesday - 8 miles, 2mi @ 5:56, 1.5mi @ 6:00
- Thursday - 14 mile trail run (Happy New Year!)
- Friday - 9 miles easy
- Total - 80 miles

- Sunday - 24 mile trail run at Bull Run Trail
- Monday - 8 miles easy
- Tuesday - 10 miles easy

- Total - 90 miles
Next up is a 25+ mile training run next weekend with the Virginia Happy Trails Running Club out in the Massannuttens. It should be a really tough run with lots of vertical, lots of rocks, lots of leaves, and probably some snow too. Awesome!
