We are off to Switzerland tonight and will be hanging out for a week in zermatt hiking and exploring. After that it will be off to Bad Ragaz for the race. Side note: just when I thought the race couldn't get more intimidating I found out starts in a place actually called Bad Ragaz.
All of the hard work is done at this point. In the last three week training cycle prior to my two week taper I was able to notch up over 45,000 feet of climbing. I did long and tough runs out in the shenandoahs, lots of incline treadmill running, core work, and even a bit of speed work.
So now I get to play for a week with the family and then off to the sardona ultra!
